Kaolin clay (also called China clay) is one of the mildest and most widely used clays in cosmetics. Its especially popular for skincare because it gently cleans without over-drying.

What is Kaolin Clay?

Kaolin is a naturally occurring soft white clay mainly composed of the mineral kaolinite. Its commonly used in face masks, soaps, powders, and even makeup.

  How to Use (DIY Face Mask)

  Simple kaolin face mask:

  • 12 tsp kaolin clay
  • Rose water / plain water (or aloe vera gel)
  • Mix to a smooth paste
  • Apply to face (avoid eyes)
  • Leave for 810 minutes (dont let it fully crack dry)
  • Rinse with lukewarm water

  Use 12 times per week.
