1. Sandalwood Essential Oil (natural)

• Extracted from Santalum album
• Rich in compounds like -santalol, giving a warm, creamy woody scent
• Used in:

  • Natural perfumes
  • Ayurvedic cosmetics
• Skin benefits: soothing, anti-inflammatory
• Expensive and sometimes diluted/adulterated

2. Sandalwood Fragrance Oil (synthetic or blended)

• Designed to mimic sandalwood scent (often cheaper)
• Widely used in:
  • Soaps, lotions, creams, shampoos
  • Perfumes, deodorants
• Smell: woody, earthy, slightly sweet, long-lasting
